About Us
~Connecting adults with needs to the appropriate services.~
Libraries English And Reading Network (LEARN) comprises mainly library and non-profit organization staff members interested in providing materials and services to adults learning to read, speak, and understand English. The group shares ideas about providing and marketing services, maintains a database of organizations that offer those services, and investigates and publicizes funding opportunities. Any library staffer in the Chicago area who is involved with assisting adults learning to read and/or speak English is welcome to join.
